HAMPSHIRE SCOUT RIFLE CLUB TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES FOR LEADERS NSRA Youth Proficiency Scheme Tutor's Diploma Courses This qualification is suitable for those who wish to supervise air gun shooting by Scouts.

All courses are given by one or more NSRA YPS Tutor Trainers or County, Regional or National Coaches. Typically, Hampshire runs four or five of these courses each year. . .Bookings are now being taken for courses as follows: 29-31 January 2010
2-4 July 2010 at Ferny Crofts, Beaulieu, Brockenhurst, Hampshire (Residential weekend course at Hampshire's Scout Centre in the New Forest)

These courses include the recently-introduced "Three-position" module.

HSRC Courses are open to Leaders and other adult members of the Scout and Guide Associations within Hampshire and elsewhere.
Adults working with other recognised youth organisations may also be accepted; a CRB Disclosure letter must be produced with application. A One-day course can be arranged for those with substantial previous target shooting experience. Courses can also be arranged in your own District.

Renewal
The NSRA Licence that accompanies the YPS Tutor's Diploma is valid for five years. It may be renewed if you have been regularly using the qualification so keeping a record or logbook is very important. The minimum level of use is 25 separate occasions over the 5-year period with at least 5 in the 12 months prior to renewal.
Applications for renewal must be made to the NSRA before your Licence expires.
Write, quoting your Licence number and enclosing your logbook and a cheque for £10.00, payable to "NSRA", to:
NSRA, Lord Roberts Centre, Bisley Camp, Brookwood, WOKING Surrey, GU24 0NP.
If you want your logbook back, ask for it; otherwise it may be retained.
