Notes:
1. From 1977 to 1984
the Championships were sponsored
by the National Air Rifle & Pistol Association (NARPA). Since 1985,
the Championships have been sponsored by the National Small-bore Rifle
Association (NSRA). The dimensions of NARPA and NSRA targets are
different (NARPA target scoring rings being much larger) and the
results are therefore not
comparable between these periods.
2. From 1996 to 2009 NSRA Air 6 (YPS) targets were used for the Main Air Pistol class and from 2001, Air 8s for Own Pistol, Following the discontinuance of the Air 6 targets, NSRA Air 8s were used for both Main and Own Pistol from 2010 onwards. The scores for Main Event Air Pistol between these periods are not directly comparable. 3. In 2019 the course of fire for the 6-yard Own Airgun events (recoiling air rifle, air pistol and vintage rifle) was increased from 3 cards of 5 shots (best two to count; scores ex-100) to sighters plus 4 cards of 5 shots (score ex-200). |
