 |
Field Target Air Rifle.
This outdoor event is a more advanced test of marksmanship.
Targets are set out at various distances and so this discipline tests
the shooter's ability to estimate range and make allowance for it. |
 |
Field Target shooting requires frequent changes of position.
The shooter may fire from standing, kneeling or sitting. |
 |
All shooters are under the skilled supervision of experienced
Range Conducting Officers throughout their shoot. |
 |
With electronic and reactive targets, every shot is scored
immediately. |
 |
At the end of the shoot, firers and supervisors return
to the scorer's tent to record the results. |
